I took your picture, but I wasn’t trying to get to know you. I just want you to keep your spirits up when you’re feeling down and remember that there was once a street photographer who was taken with your charm. There was charm once, and there will be again in the future.

Temporary barber store
It’s a makeshift barbershop on the side of the road. There’s no fixed store, just a chair and a pair of scissors. But it’s open for business! Sometimes it’s on the left side of the road, sometimes on the right. A hundred years ago, Chinese men wore their hair long. It would be disrespectful to our ancestors if we cut it short. Nowadays, almost every man cuts his hair short. People think that showing respect to our ancestors is not about how we look, but about how we act. We should be more pragmatic.
Shutter at unexpected distance
There must be someone in this world who watches your every move, captures your natural expressions without you noticing, from a distance you don’t expect. I, with my camera, am that someone.
Leica D-Lux Type 109, it’s Leica, not Panasonic
Back in the day, when cell phone photography was still new and the camera market was booming, checking out new products was fun. The Leica D-Lux Type 109 is Leica’s first 4/3-format camera, and the image quality has really improved. I was really excited to buy it ten years ago.
I find the 4:3 format works well for hobbyist needs, as well as for professional RAW shooting. Even though it was made by Panasonic, it has a lot of the same qualities as a Leica. The image quality is consistent, the colors are accurate, and it handles contrast and low light well, no matter what the situation is. The color palette is pretty unique and definitely in line with Leica’s color philosophy. That’s the Leica spirit.
I think trying to copy Leica’s look is a bit childish. Leica’s spirit isn’t in its appearance, but in its philosophy of quality, the spirit of striving for excellence, and seeking the best. The Leica D-Lux 109 is actually a better version of the Panasonic LX100. In my mind, it’s Leica, not Panasonic.
Scooters of childhood
Hey there! How long has it been since you felt like this? Looking forward to the sun going down early on a crisp fall afternoon because your dad promised to come back from a business trip with a new toy for you? Your scooter was parked in front of the school and the sun was shining that day. How many other times have you had such a golden wait when you were growing up?
Leica D-Lux5
While organizing some old photos, I came across some amazing images captured by the classic Leica D-Lux5. They brought back so many memories and made me feel all kinds of emotions! I’d love to take this chance to share my thoughts and experiences with you about using this wonderful machine. It’s already fall harvest season! The years go by so fast, don’t they? It’s a great time to enjoy the fruits of our labor. These photos are filled with happy memories from the wonderful moments of 2017.
I was so impressed by the images of the D-Lux5 in the book that I decided to buy the same model to try it out for myself. This Panasonic for Leica camera is a real beauty. It’s got a Panasonic CCD sensor, and the color performance is excellent. The CCD area is small but really effective, and the card machine image quality is comparable to the standard for publication. The D-Lux series iconic small red dot design is pretty cool, too.
People are drawn to the Leica brand and its minimalist look. M-series fans might not care for the D-Lux, but compact cameras have their own appeal. It’s a brand icon, a symbol of luxury, and a high-end, pricey option. The D-Lux series isn’t the most cost-effective choice, but it can be a tasteful and stylish one.
The shutter is faster than the brain
Photography is about using your eyes and your mind together. But is it better to think first, then take a picture, or to take a picture first, then think? I don’t always have time to think, just like a dog owner who doesn’t always have time to control their dog. My shutter always runs before my brain.
Eat autumn bite by bite
I enjoy eating lotus seeds, some are bitter, some are sweet, some are cold, I like the feeling, the feeling of fall. I took a picture while eating lotus seeds. I don’t just eat lotus seeds, I chew the fall one bite at a time. I don’t just take pictures, I take pictures of fall one by one.
A Glass of Blue Ocean
I heard that the blue color is the waves of the sea. Isn’t that lovely? A blue cocktail, bitter, sweet, and fresh, as if an ocean breeze blew by. You stood there on the beach, a glass full of wine, spilling over you. You looked so happy!
